Failure: A stepping stone to success

‘’One of the secrets of life is to make stepping stones out of stumbling blocks’’…….. Jack Penn
‘’Sometimes it is better to fail than to succeed because failure leads to great achievement eventually’’…… Robert Schuller

Hmm … Failure!   Failure!!  Failure!!! … Are you depressed right now because of some of the ugly events of the past especially the once characterized by failure? Ride on!
It might interest you to know that, most of the people we see as successful individuals today are those who have witnessed failure and interpreted it as the ingredients of success. They saw failure as stepping stone to success. Remember Rome was not built in a day. Those who see themselves as failure are people who did not realize how close they were to success before they quit.
John Roger and McWilliams wrote ‘’ The common denominators of all successful people is persistence’’. Life really is not static, little wonder the Japanese assents, ‘’Fall seven times, rise eight times
Most at times failure only suggest that your previous technique for success may not have been adequate or was not carried out properly. It makes you step in your tracks and make the decision to abandon whatever it is you are doing right now, to follow another track where your success lies.
In creating the pathway to success, failure is put in the dashboard of our lives in order to be seen moving. Sometimes, we neglect the warning sign and go on into the imaginative scenes of emotions. Without failure, some of the things we appreciate now, would not have been discovered.
Failure is an opportunity for learning, growing, improving and transforming. The key to transforming failure is in what we do when we fail… The right attitude to failure.
Staci J. Shelton proposed the steps for turning into success to include:
  • Regroup
  •  Review
  •   Redesign
  •    Re-lunch
Regroup: Whenever you fail to achieve your proposed goal, the first thing to do is to re-group, although one feels frustrated when he/she fails to achieve his /her expectation, process the feeling, forgive yourself and take a break. Give yourself time to emotionally process what just happened. Appreciate how you feel, what you didn’t live, and more importantly, identify how you want things to go the next time.
When you neglect to regroup, you will be at the risk of making decisions born out of fear, doubt, panic, anger or all of this. Be conscious of the facts that trial and error are all part of the journey. Success doesn’t come immediately.
Review: Even if you feel that the whole project collapsed, when you look back at it, there is always something that worked. What things went extremely well?
What did you feel good about? Note all these things. They will boost your confidence and help you look objectively at part two of the review process, looking at the things that did not do so well.
Redesign: This involves adjustments and improvements. Retain what worked, change what didn’t and redesign your experience. Review and keep those that worked, and have a new plan for success. This leads to the next step, which is to put it into action.
Relaunch: You can never be successful if you remain stuck in analysis and let the fact that the first, second, fourth or twentieth venture wasn’t a success. Launch your new and improved process. When we fail and not getting what we want, offer us opportunity to learn and develop. It is not avoiding failure that creates success. It is what we learn from it that covers.

It doesn't matter how many times you fail in life, what matters is your attitude when you fail.

VICTIMS AND VICTORS...

We can go through life feeling sorry for ourselves and hating the world because you feel it owes you something. You say things like if only I was born rich or if only I was born in England or America. But what you fail to realize is that you already have all you need to be a success. You need no other thing in life. You can go around with a sad face feeling sorry for yourself while the rest of the world progress and leave you behind. I want to share the remarkable stories of some individuals who were victims of life but turned it into being a victor.

She was 8 years when the police forcefully pulled her out of her house and sent her and her siblings to different foster homes. Her first foster parents gave up on her after 6 months because she feared and hated the world. She spent several years living in the orphanage. When the foster homes were closed, she went through a series of foster home experiences where she was repeatedly told she
was dumb and would amount to nothing. At 15 she rented her apartment and supported herself by working nights and weekends. She also enrolled in a top public school in the city. By her senior year,
Colene made the honor society, took an active role in student achievement program, and served in the student government. While holding down 3 part time jobs.
Colene then worked her way through college and not only graduated with a bachelor in science degree in speech pathology and audiology, she was listed in who's who in America's college and universities. After receiving a masters in health care administration, Colene worked in several hospital in China, Kenya, Saudi Arabia. JOSEPH NEUBAUER:

He was 14 when his parents put him on a boat and send him to America from a war ridden Israel. An aunt and uncle already established in Massachusetts agreed to take him in. Provided he pay his way by working in the family roadside store after school and on weekends. He did not only learn a new language, but a whole new culture.
With the help of his concerned educators, his aunt and uncle, and a number of new friends, Joe graduated from high school and was admitted to Tufts university. To help pay his way, he got a part time job as a waiter eventually working his way to the position of food steward. As a senior he was nominated for and won a scholarship for graduate study at the prestigious University of Chicago Business school.

When he gained his MBA, Joe joined Chase Manhattan bank to learn finance. At the age of 27 he became the youngest vice president in the bank's history. After taking positions at Pepsi where he became the youngest treasurer of a fortune 500 company and Wilson Sporting goods. Two years later the board named him president and in 1983 he became CEO. As at 1998 his privately owned company has grown into one of the largest and financially strongest service company in the world, with 120,000 employees and revenues of about $ 5 billion.

And if you feel your current situation is bad take a look at the people above and move on.

INSPIRATION-101

"THE BEST DATE FORMAT FOR THOSE WHO ARE ASPIRING TO BE GREAT IS UP-TO-DATE!"

It doesn't matter what today's date is... The best date is not the date in the format "03-07-2016"; the best date is written as "UP-TO-DATE": i.e. DD-MM-YYYY. No time is late for whoever that is in dire desire to be great so long the person is up-to-date.

Stop hiding your flairs, expose them; yes, I enjoin you to expose them even if people criticize you, even if people make mockery of your flaws: keep doing them aright, the more you do them aright the better you will be getting, and the greater you will be getting. Yoke with the right people; in every clique you may find yourself, always remember that you are unique: that God made you with a special technique. Don't belong to a group where you will be wrong; make friends with good trends: those who aspire to be legends, those who won't lead you to  dead-end.

Do you wish to be a speaker? Then begin to speak, I say you should always speak to people [don't just stay behind closed doors speaking to yourself alone], keep speaking, make mistakes, but never fail to correct your mistakes. I see, O! You aspire to be a writer, who/what is holding you? My friend keep writing, make sure that you unleash your written works to people; some people may be gibing you due to erroneous works; don't bother much, keep discovering and correcting your flaws: keep improving.

I am wondering why you are afraid and bothered about negative things people would say about what you do! Why don't you think more of those who eulogize you than of those who criticize you?

Remember, great achievers don't just fail and quit trying nor fail and start crying: they change plans and strategies when the one applied failed. You may not believe me if I really tell you how I discovered my flair for writing, and how I kept developing and improving. If you really care to know: give me a call on 08037834016 OR 08128960075; let me speak directly to you. If I really continue like this, and keep improving, in five years time, I will become a better and greater personality.

In recapitulation: never you stop until you have made it to the top; wherever God needs you to stop is really your top: don't limit yourself or override God. Remember: no amount of sacrifice would suffice for God to be seen as a surprise: always consult God when due, and give to Him what is due to Him. Be encouraged, even myself who motivate others do experience moments of discouragements. The paths to success are rough, the acts involved are tough; only those who are outstandingly strong enough to persevere till the end when the conditions are severe will be able to enjoy the dividends of success. Do not lose hope, okay, you have the potentials to make success your eternal victim.

IT'S MONTH OF JULY, DO TRY ALWAYS TO RELY ON THE MOST HIGH, AND YOUR POT OF SUCCESS WON'T RUN DRY.

The very day you discovered each a strange word, you would be thinking that the word was introduced of recent: it has been in existence, just that you had never come across it until that very moment. The same way many legends have been existing since they were delivered into the world, but were not known nor inferred to be legends the very day their mothers gave birth to them apiece. Do you know many people don't know of your existence? Then why don't you start today work towards unleashing your abilities?

I still remain NDJP=> THE INSPIRATIONAL PARROT; THE MOTIVATIONAL PILOT-1.
