You are not a drop
In life’s glorious
ocean
You are the ocean
With all it’s beauty
And grandeur
In a glistening drop
You are not red
Your are not blue
You are a kaleidoscope
Of beautiful colors
Making up this rainbow
Called life
Neither does an
individual blade of grass a field
A leaf cannot qualify
as a forest
For nothing exist in
isolation
For joined with other
notes
A note becomes a
symphony
You are not an
individual
You are humanity
At it’s most specific
point
Recognized it’s
singularity
In this complex cosmic
bond
That holds all of us
together
Ubuntu
We are together in this
Everyone of us
Connected to the divine
source
Our individual
existence
Dependent on that of
others
Life is dependent on
balance
A life here
A death there
Different aromas and
flavors
Contributing
To the great soup of
humanity
Humanity is one
Black or White
Yellow or Red
We are all humans
As Mother Earth has
given all her children
Succor without
discrimination
Love shouldn’t come
hard to us
For we are all children
of Love
Hate is just the
absence of Love
And when we relearn how
to love one another
We can in unity
Achieve a lot
We all cry for peace
Enough with wars
Let’s come together
Humanity united
To bring an end
To this divisiveness
Love, togetherness and
unity
Watchword that will
ensure
The survival of
humanity
For if we are not
united
If we do not love
The fate of mankind
Will forever seem bleak
